These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Card Ledger, operated by Card Ledger ("we," "us," or "our") at getcardledger.com. By accessing or using Card Ledger, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Description of Service
Card Ledger is a transaction logging tool designed for sports card buyers and sellers. It allows users to record purchases and sales, track profit and loss, and sync data to their personal Google Sheets account. Card Ledger is a record-keeping tool only.
Not financial advice. Card Ledger provides transaction tracking and profit/loss calculations for personal record-keeping purposes only. Nothing in this app constitutes financial, tax, investment, or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional for financial guidance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Card Ledger. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent.
3. Your Account
You sign in to Card Ledger using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being used in a harmful or abusive manner.
4. Your Data
Your transaction data is stored in your own Google Drive via Google Sheets. You own your data. We access it only to provide the service. You may delete your Google Sheet at any time to remove your transaction records.
Transaction data may also be cached temporarily in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data will delete this local cache. We are not responsible for data loss caused by clearing local storage, browser updates, or device changes.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Card Ledger is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy of any financial calculations displayed in the app. Your use of Card Ledger is entirely at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Card Ledger and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of transaction data or records
- Financial decisions made based on app calculations
- Interruptions or errors in the service
- Unauthorized access to your account
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Card Ledger to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Use the service for any purpose other than personal transaction record-keeping
8. Intellectual Property
All content, code, design, and materials comprising Card Ledger are the property of Card Ledger and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of Card Ledger without our written permission.
9. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Card Ledger at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Card Ledger after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.
